What do Projects with Vulnerable look like?
Generally located in bigger cities these projects offer specialist work with clients dealing with addiction issues or homelessness.
These are often demanding roles, normally requiring older, more experienced volunteers.
Work usually entails engaging with clients, supporting the project to deliver services, coordinating activities, serving meals, running a cafe, building relationships, helping clients to complete forms and raise awareness of resources.
The ideal candidate would tend to be an older volunteer with some life experience and work experience as these roles often require confident and proactive personality with a passion for working with disadvantaged people.
