Pioneer centre says goodbye and welcomes new volunteers.

Every August the centre says goodbye to volunteers from a various countries, and immediately gets ready to welcome a new group.

As they saw off last year's volunteers who have been working at the centre, Pioneer travel to the Cotswolds for some down time and farewell in a special way. This is truly special time as volunteers arrive in a foreign country, not knowing what to expect. A great deal of learning and building character takes place at the centre with some conquering more the fear of height!

Valerie volunteer from France says this about her experience at Pioneer Centre:

''For me this year has been full of highs and lows. I never imagined I have such a range of emotions but Im glad to say, this has to be the most rewarding and transformative so far. I have made friends for life,  gained a lot of knowledge and new skills. My favourite part has been learning how to tie high ropes and be able to instruct kids and seing them thrive at the end of a session.

In August the centre welcomed over 20 new volunteers arrive from Germany, Korea, France and the UK to start a new adventure. We wish all the new volunteers the very best and look forward to hearing about all the adventures!
